I am large! and similar to a beach ball 🙂
Today I am 37 weeks, or full term. I can’t believe it. Thank goodness the time is near. I keep singing to Gavin to move on down. Due to everyone’s observations, they say he is still very high and has to drop before he makes his debut, so last night I walked on the treadmill for 30 minutes and totally passed out for 8 hours straight. (It was only 2.5 and I was beat!)
I hate to say it, but I am really ready to not be pregnant anymore. Feeling the little guy move around is pretty cool, (pull out the little violins) but my body aches, my sense of smell is still so strong, I can barely walk up the stairs and I would like to just meet the dude already!
Last Friday, Adam had the day off of work, so we hopped in the car and headed to the beach. Only being 36 miles away is VERY nice. We had a delicious lunch at Breakers. We split an amazing BBQ Hawaiian Burger and a Key Lime Mahi Mahi Sandwich. Adam had a beer and I had a spicy virgin bloody mary (how I can’t wait to have a fully loaded, extra spicy, full of olives bloody mary!)
After being extremely stuffed and really not caring since my belly already sticks so darn far out, we headed south on Atlantic to Bethune Beach. It was less crowded from the Spring Breakers.
The water was too cold to stand in (says the Florida girl) and the breeze a bit chilly, but the sun was warm and the waves still make that amazing rhythm as they break on the shore. It was a perfect day.
Today I have my 37 week appointment with the midwife and Im sure will head back in next week for the same.
Everyone is starting to pick dates and poles on Gavin’s arrival. If you’d like to sign up and play, just click here. We are using Expectnet.com
